Time to fly!

The Spirit of the Lord says, ‘My people have been training. They have knowledge of the Word, they have my Spirit alive and working in them and they have a hunger to serve the Kingdom of God. Each one of my sons and daughters are ready to fly’.

You are like a twin-engine aeroplane, sitting on the run-way, ready for take-off! Now it is time for you to step up, climb into that cockpit and start the engine; time to bring all your training together, to take off and fly – and to climb higher and higher into the plan and purpose that Father God has ordained over your life.

Ephesians 4:10-12
He who descended is the very one who ascended higher than all the heavens, in order to fill the whole universe. So Christ himself gave the apostles, the prophets, the evangelists, the pastors and teachers, to equip his people for works of service, so that the body of Christ may be built up.

Be still and know that He is God

God is reminding you to be clear-minded and avoid the chaos that can so easily fill our minds in these days. Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will. (Romans 12:2)

He says to you today, ‘Be still and know that I am God. Delight yourself in Me and I will give you the desires of your heart’ (Psalm 37:4) When you delight yourself completely in Him, He literally places His very desires inside of you. His desires are your desires and your desires are His desires.

But remember also that we are called to wait patiently for the Lord to turn towards you and hear our cry. He will meet you where you are. He asks you to lay down your own desires, waiting and trusting that He will turn towards you because He loves you.

There is a need for patience and perseverance in this season. As you wait patiently on the Lord, He will TURN to you and hear your cry. And if you feel God isn’t hearing you, allow Him to do this work of simply stretching your patience, expanding your capacity to wait on Him. Be still and know He is God! (Psalm 46:10)

Together

The Lord showed me a vision of white crosses moving along the highways and byways; down the roads and the freeways of the world. As the crosses moved forward, I saw that there were people carrying the crosses. The crosses represented the churches of the world and the people were congregations, those that step up to the commission. The roads travelled by the crosses lead to the harvest fields where the lost and hungry are waiting.

I watched as each person carried the cross above their heads: they stumbled, some fell, some got back up again to take their place and continue carrying the cross to the harvest fields. A number struggled, leaving those that were left with a harder job to take up the weight of the crosses – yet they knew that they had to stand up and take the weight for their struggling brothers and sisters… and fill the gaps.

And the Lord said, ‘Today! Yes, today! The call to my people is to stand up, take the weight and know that I AM GOD’.

Matthew 10:38-39
Whoever does not take up their cross and follow me is not worthy of me. Whoever finds their life will lose it, and whoever loses their life for my sake will find it.

His lightning strikes will make space for you

I saw a lightning bolt strike out of God’s Heaven and land at your door, right where you were standing. You were holding your diary, and the diary contents had spilled out because it was so full. But its fullness was not a sign of life, instead your diary was full of distractions.

God has watched the ebbs and flows of your life; the work, the juggling priorities, the late nights and the early mornings spent. Now He steps in and does business with a tender mercy on your behalf, so that your timings and diary get a Heavenly overhaul. His lightning strikes so that a space is made for rest, proper sleep and – most importantly – for time in His presence, at His feet.

John 14:27
Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid.

I will give you the solution

The Holy Spirit showed me many images of ‘disaster situations’: a person lost in a stormy sea, fighting to stay above the waves; another stranded on a mountain top alone, looking for a way up – or down; another with a car broken down, in the middle of nowhere – steam coming from the engine – again alone; and someone in an office looking for the missing figure in a sheet of accounts, in panic.

Then… I saw a mother tending the wounded knee of her son and a father lifting and cuddling his young daughter, who was crying.

And the Lord says, ‘I am the hand that saves. I am the one who comforts. I am the one who counsels and brings healing.

I am.

I am the one who brings a solution to your situation – wherever you are. I am your Father. I am the one who loves you and takes away the pain. Invite me in to your problems and situations – great or small – for I will give you the solution. I will bring comfort, peace and healing.

I am.

A peace and clarity is coming

I saw a vision of you, standing looking into a pool in a gently-flowing river, your reflection becoming clearer as the water flowed more calmly. As you looked closer, the things which have been confusing and concerning you suddenly made sense. You see who you are and, more importantly, who your God is. Peace is coming into these areas as you look to God and not to the issues themselves.

Your surroundings also came sharply into view and you began to realise that God has placed you in that specific place for right now. Whether it’s work, family, health or financial issues that fill your prayers, know that He is bringing gifts of wisdom and understanding that you have previously felt was lacking.

You are about to receive these gifts in a greater abundance – and not just because you need them for today. They are also to equip you for impacting those around you. Today the Lord wants to download wisdom and understanding; tomorrow and everyday henceforth He asks you to use it.

Be prepared to see much more clearly into the lives of those He brings around you, when you are looking to see Him more clearly.

Proverbs 2:1-5
My son, if you accept my words and store up my commands within you, turning your ear to wisdom and applying your heart to understanding, and if you call out for insight and cry aloud for understanding and if you look for it as for silver and search for it as for hidden treasure, then you will understand the fear of the Lord.

You will overcome, by my Spirit

Activate your spirit and do not allow your flesh to rule over you. Worship me and fix your eyes upon me. As you walk by the Spirit you will have strength for everything I call you to. Ask me to fill you with my Spirit and you will not go astray.

It’s not by might or by power that you will overcome today, my child but by my Spirit. My arm is not too short to save. Do not trust in your own strength and plans, and I will lead you in the way you should go. Trust in me and I will fight for you and give you the victory. Apart from me you can do nothing.

Galaians 5:16
I say then: Walk in the Spirit and you shall not fulfil the lust of the flesh.

Don’t look to your failings and fears

Father God call to you – Beloved, why do you listen to the enemy’s lies when he tries to entangle you in works and worry? I have spoken life and victory, which I have secured, over you. Don’t look to your failings and fears – I don’t! I look at you through the righteousness of My Son Jesus and I call you today to stand on His strength and achievements.

‘But what must I do to walk in victory and assurance? How can I overcome my flesh?’, I hear you cry. My answer to you is: praise me – thank me – worship me – repent of any unconfessed sin – receive my forgiveness and fix your eyes fully on me – whilst I bring my perfect plans for you to pass. I know you struggle to work things out yourself and certain situations seem overwhelming. That is why I, El Shaddai, remind you today that I AM IN CONTROL. Simply come to me as a child to bring your prayers and praises – and allow me to be your Father and your Almighty God.

So we say with confidence, “The Lord is my helper; I will not be afraid. What can man do to me?”

Time to speak!

It is time for the Lord’s people to speak. The Lord calls forth your voice in this season! It is time for your silence to end – both self- imposed silence and that which has been imposed by others. It is time to be bold, to be passionate and to let your voice be heard: in your families, in your jobs and in your churches. This is a season when your voices will be anointed with words from the very throne of heaven. It is time to stop being timid and fearful of who-you-are and whose-you-are and to stand boldly and declare truth and righteousness in every corner of the land!

Open wide your mouth and I will fill it.

But when they arrest you, do not worry about what to say or how to say it. At that time you will be given what to say, for it will not be you speaking, but the Spirit of your Father speaking through you.

Consecrate for the battle ahead

Joshua 5:13-15
Now it came about when Joshua was by Jericho, that he lifted up his eyes and looked, and behold, a man was standing opposite him with his sword drawn in his hand, and Joshua went to him and said to him, “Are you for us or for our adversaries?” He said, “No; rather I indeed come now as captain of the host of the LORD.” And Joshua fell on his face to the earth, and bowed down, and said to him, “What has my lord to say to his servant?” The captain of the LORD’S host said to Joshua, “ Remove your sandals from your feet, for the place where you are standing is holy.” And Joshua did so.

I am calling for my holy ones to stand up and make ready. Make ready for the battle that is ahead of you. Will you be counted among the hosts of heaven? Will you take your stand?

The armies of the evil one are amassing because they know that their time is coming to an end, and their desire is to target the very foundations of your faith. But take courage! I am your commander and your deliverer, and victory is assured.

Take up the shield of faith and the sword of the Spirit. Make your stand on your most holy faith and your foundations will remain secure. Make your declaration of victory in my name. Gather your strength and do not allow your focus to be diverted by the distractions of this world. Know that I am with you and know the joy of the victorious risen Christ!

Revelation 3:21
To he who overcomes, I will grant to him to sit down with me on My throne, as I also overcame and sat down with My Father on His throne.
